Let's see the truck, it actually may be a good deal. It's a Tacoma, 200k is fine as long as it was given good maintenance.

Miles don't scare me. My father in-law has an 07 TRD OR with 320k and I just changed the spark plugs for the first time ever a month ago. Not a single problem with the truck minus maintenance items. Plus on an 05 200k is only around 15k miles a year

Depends. If It's always been an Arizona truck, your probably good on rust. If it's a rust bucket underneath, I'd pass for sure. If the body is clean and straight, and runs decent, It may be worth considering.

Why? Guess I could have clarified better. The truck has never had any mechanical failures or issues. Only things it's ever needed it's typical maintenance.

Recommender isn't the same as required. Factory plug gap is .35 and the gap on the old plugs was .65. I agree they should have been changed earlier but the circumstances around the milage on the truck is another story. The spark plugs were worn when changed but never once did it have a misfire a hard start issue or any other mechanical issue. I drove it from nm to az and still averaged 17 mpgs to and from. Plus I never started it had the best maintenance records. Only that it had high mileage and a lack of mechanical issue. All I'm saying is higher mileage isn't a deal killer for me.

I wouldn't let mileage scare you with these trucks. It all comes down to how the previous owners took care of it. I bought my 06 with 199K on it and you would never know it unless you looked at the odometer. The paint is shiny and the leather is still soft. The previous owner did the maintenance on time, washed and waxed the truck occasionally and it shows. If the truck was well taken care of, I wouldn't hesitate to buy at 200k or above.
