Been throwing around the idea of buying new front and rear bumpers for my taco. Had decided not to and just get a hitch gate and call It a day and skip the front until later. Then I can't across these two bumpers. He said he called the manufacturer and the front will fit my 09 even though his truck is a 12+ he said he would go 700 firm and 800 firm with winch. Also said needs a new coat of spray on Berliner on both bumper. Are these worth that? If not, what's a good offer?

Just look at the build thread
Please, please, please, so not put those on your truck. Those things need to be sold as scrap metal.

You won't offend me. They aren't mine lol. Just wanted opinions from here. I was very much leaning towards NOT buying them anyway. Just wanted some opinions here before completely writing them off

I would hate to stare at that big stinger all day while driving, but if you dig them, go for it.

If you like the look of it then go to the site and buy one new for less than that seller of the one you found is asking, if you like the look, it doesn't matter how other rude commenters feel, do what you think will look great on YOUR truck! Happy modding brother

I can't buy new ones for less then what he's asking? They cost 980 bucks together but he's asking 700?

Oh 700 for both? Alright man well like I said if you like the look then go for it. There are other options out there they're just more money so it's totally your call, you can also talk to the guy about test fitting if he's local, just to make sure you like them

The problem with the trail gear bumpers to me is for what you are paying (in terms of their brand new price) you can get a whole lot better bumper from someone else that will look better.

People have different tastes in bumpers. The front doesn’t look too bad...I’d get those ugly trail gear cutoffs covered over. And I’ve seen someone weld in some plates on a trail gear rear and turn it into a mean looking hybrid.

I would find something else. Those look terrible....even if u put fresh paint on them.

I say run....even if he drops the price.

I think I've pretty much decided to run. Which Is what I was already leaning towards any way. I just like getting opinions from my tacoma world family before making some decisions on my taco. I definately don't like how the corner of the back of the bed is exposed with the tube style bumper. Looks like something is missing.

Oh and for the record, he said very firm at 700 since he paid 980 new. And told me they're in "good shape but DEFINATELY used." So that leads me to believe that they aren't in the best of shape in person.
