I know it's not an ideal way to purchase. However, I've bought some cheaper items this way when an emergency arose. And yah I know... Emergency fund. Dave Ramsey. All that good stuff. I know. I'm not great with money..

My question is outside of down south Motorsports are there any other companies who finance lift kits? Honestly I don't need everything but this weekend I blew out both rear shocks and my leafs are sagging with the camper top and my gear. It's still drivable but has a very massive "bro lean".

I figure since I need new rear suspension, I may as well just do the whole kit. And I don't even have enough cash to do just the rear currently. Looking at probably an ome or toytec kit. Nothin fancy but with Dakar leafs since I tow and my gear will eventually stay in the bed at all times. I'd also like to do upper control arms, but down south doesn't offer SPC which I had planned on going with. Should I just go through DSM? Or is there another company that will finance or do affirm? Im also within driving distance from toytec, but I'm currently on the East end of Nebraska for work. So I'd like to get something ordered today or tomorrow and have it ready next weekend to install when I get back home out west.

Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Depending on your credit score you can get Paypal credit at 0% for six months. I’m not sure what Affirm’s rates are but it’s hard to beat 0% if you’re going to be borrowing money.

Thanks. Yah I actually have a small line of credit with PayPal currently. But not enough to cover even just the rear. I suppose I could try and just pay Wil PayPal credit and see if it goes through but that may negatively affect my credit even more. It's not super good. I'm still crawling out of college stupidity and a divorce.

I was thinking it was 0 for 6 but couldn't remember. Bought a purple mattress a few years ago and my wheels through them but paid both off early

I hate to tell you, but do you really think you've crawled out of college stupidity if you have to finance a lift? Who gives a shit if the ass is squatting? Seems money would spent better on something that will improve you're quality of life.

Spending $2k on something that will only impress a small number of people, even less people when they found out you went into unnessasary debt to finance seems kinda dumb.

Sorry, but I'm compelled to comment.

The idea of financing a lift makes me nauseous. Take yourself down to Autozone and pickup some replacement shocks for $35 a piece. Buy a lift when you have the money.

No I appreciate the comment. It's not to impress by any means. I have no rear shocks and my leafs aren't in very good shape. I have to carry probably 500+ pounds in the back for work where I drive anywhere from 800-2000 miles every 8 days. And it's not that I'm hurting to crawl out of college debt. A few less stops at the truck stop on my travels would take care of that in 6-8 months.

You're 100% correct that it's not the smart move but I'd rather buy quality once and make a few payments on it and not patch it or risk worse repairs down the road by letting it go the way it is.

There's 2GEN OEM rear take off shocks in for sale section here. You could go to Spring shop to fix your rear leaf cheap

See if you can snag some newish OEM takeoffs in your area/region. You may be abel to score leafs and shocks that have under 10k miles on them for a song.

Sub to this thread and post up, because leafpacks are too expensive to ship, and if you put that many miles on, chances are you can fetch some in your travels.

If your not self employed sure hope they give you a great per diem for beating the shit out of your personal vehicle for their gain. And NO don’t finance your lift.

It's not the best per Diam. And we're in contract negotiations again. I normally use my car for travel but my better is without a vehicle recently and doesn't like driving my truck. So the last few months have been rough traveling from Omaha to salt lake quite a bit. Lots of miles.

tough call, personally I’d find someone in the BST with free or cheap factory shocks and run them until times improve financially.

At least make sure you have a good tax person. If your paying for all your gas, repairs etc out of your own pocket. You can claim .52 cents per mile. So for example if you put 60k miles on your truck for work, 30k of salary is tax free don’t send the gov. Money you don’t have to.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I got alot to think about. Have a friend with a taco willing to loan me his stock rear suspension for now. But I may just be immature financially and order all new.
