    If more people want used vehicles and the dealer is offering you more than your vehicle is worth...it means that to make money, he will have to sell it for more than you paid for yours new. Or gouge you on a new vehicle--this will come from the loan fees/interest rate or higher than average vehicle cost.

    Oh, and let's say you did accept the offer. The 9-10K you owe? I'd be more than willing to bet the 25K offered is "off msrp" or some such wording and you'll be stuck paying it off.

    Car dealers prey on people that will accept those terms without understanding them.
