    Damn looks like I’ll be calling my cc company tomorrow. Ordered sliders for my Tacoma 11/30/2021 final day of their sale also seen on their website that lead times were 8-12 weeks started emailing in February about progress on the sliders same bs as everyone else here. Last contact was 4-4-2022 stating that the sliders were going into production in the following 2 weeks and then heading to their powder coat guy and that I should see a tracking invoice in the beginning of May. Never heard from them since

    I feel for everyone who got screwed by this company. We all work hard for our money and when someone essentially robs us it really sucks. I sincerely hope that everyone gets all or some of their money back as this entire mess unfolds ... but I also know, as do we all, that that is pretty unlikely. For everyone who was so blatantly robbed, I feel for you. I am so sorry that happened. Give em hell !

    I also did want to say that with all the posts here ... and clearly a fair amount of business (we are probably talking about $100K and upwards and maybe as high as a quarter million), this absolutely sad mess does show that there is a business to be had here in New York and the northeast.

    One thing I have noticed in this thread is that there are good people who are willing to spend lots of money and they actually want to support local businesses. Granted, mind you, not this business! But being a New Yorker I am always jealous that all the good shops and all the good Tacoma fabricators are in the West. That makes a lot of sense, of course, given the trails, etc.

    These people are terrible. I totally get that. My hope is that everyone gets their money back and that someone looking at this thread realizes that it is possible to have a company in NY or the Northeast that can make well designed stuff and make a business out of it. It is my hope that this comes out of the ashes of this complete shit show brought to us by major league con artists.

    The business is there ... for the right products and the right people ...

    Sorry but that is the only silver lining that I have ... :)

    $2500 to get Derrick out of my life? First, $2500 is a lot of money. Second, that POS was never in my life, no matter how many texts, emails, and calls I made. Wasn’t for a lack of trying.

    I'd have to agree with you, maybe more.

    With this many sales, just with Tacos, in the USA and Canada alone. Add in 4Runners, Tundra's, Sequoia's, etc....

    I truly hope this comes to light

    IF I was a betting man, I would bet over 1.2 million in sales that did not get delivered.

    I am saying since seeing as my order from 10-14-21 (can't remember IF that is the earliest) that never got delivered, that's a lot of time for orders to have gone thru and A LOT of money they pocketed for themselves

    I also ordered a pair of sliders for my 4R on 01/03' I did get an email 04/14/2022 stating they should be sent out mid May but no promises. I have sent 2 emails 05/10 and 05/16 asking about an update- no replies.
    I have also called the office number it is just a recording and left messages - no replies. If you Google OE its shows they are permanently closed.

    While I agree with your sentiment, I was told by multiple people that most of their sales were out west actually. In that sense, they were a national company.

    For an East Coast company, I would recommend supporting MainLine Overland (https://www.mainlineoverland.com/) in S.E. PA. They have the "feel" of a local shop, seem to keep their size/growth in check (i.e., stay focused on current inventory/customers instead of chasing sales), and my few interactions personally have been positive.

    I have no affiliation with them nor am I even a customer...but plan to give them my business in the future.

    EDIT: MLO started in the PA/Delaware region, but I now see they've expanded up and down the coast (new shops in NH and also in NC).

    It's not a stance at all. I'm just saying to someone else that they are shooting the messenger and taking out the anger and frustration onto someone who is trying to provide information to us.

    I'm out a couple hundred myself, and I am going to fight to get it back but I realize my $500ish is NOTHING compared to other people's 6, 7, 10, 12 thousand. Regardless of the amount that you got fucked, don't take it out on someone being a keyboard warrior, just be calm and steadfast in your attempt to right the wrongs if the situation.
