I'm sure there's always another number LOL But I do not know know what it is.

And it's not my post, so I have no more information.

Unfortunately I’m like a 10-11 hr round trip otherwise I’d do the drive. If anyone lives close to Buffalo and can pick up my sliders, that’d be cool… long shot, I know

And if I did receive my sliders, I’d pay back Derrick the credit I got from my bank.

I would be highly shocked if the meet-up actually went through as planned. Having said that...

...According to the post (FWIW I'm not saying anything that's not already "public" info!)...he's going to try to meet Derrick in the late evening. If this is legit, other people *should* be allowed to get their stuff too.

Well, according to the OP, he’s ‘friends’ with Derrick so maybe that’s how he managed to get and invite. That said the OP posted in the FB group to inform others who are also going to try and get ahold of Derrick for pickup. Let’s see what happens. If these meetings do actually happen, I think it’s a good thing for the customers as well as Derrick.

Just joined to post my experience for reference.

Ordered hybrid bumper for my Gx470 on 10-08-2021 $1384.00 (bumper+freight) Then added full bull bar on 12-10-21 after talking with Explore Overland $125.
    Total $1509.00

Contacted EO by phone and was cutting them slack on delivery time because my business was also effected by supply chain issues and they were always apologetic.

After this thread started I tried to contact EO for refund, heard nothing and opened disputes.

PayPal won’t help me because it is past the cutoff on the original purchase of $1384.00 and Capitol 1 only goes 60days to open a dispute.

I might get the $125.00 back from PayPal for the December bull bar add on because it is still within their dispute window so that’s something!

Filed a complaint with NY consumer protection.
Learning the hard way about payment/consumer protections. ‍

Got me thinking about how when companies have lead times longer than your payment protections, but require full payment out of the gate, you really are rolling the dice.

Anyway, just adding to the pile.
Thanks for starting the thread, it has been very helpful.
I wish everybody the best of luck getting their orders and or refunds.

Joined to share same experience as others with explore overland. Not good. No bumper after 9 weeks on a 4-6week DIY bumper kit. Was told at 4 weeks it would be shipped out in two weeks. That was last thing I heard 5 weeks ago. Luckily I’m only in 715 bucks but I did submit a dispute thru my bank just today. I have a feeling it’s not gonna go good but we’ll see.

So I called my bank and they can't do anything about it because it's been more than 75 days. I don't know if my bumper has been built or not, I was told it was shipped to the powder coat company. Does anyone know what company that is? Who wants to take a road trip to NY from GA?

Tried PayPal but it's been more than 180 days. And I used a debit card so my only hope is they actually made my bumper and it's just sitting up there. It's been 28 weeks since I ordered so the 20 week lead time should kick in any moment.

I think he’s still rolling the dice on this one. Even if he gets his items, I hope they were done right and not half assed like the previous customer encounters.

Yes he did. Wasn't able to confirm if there was anything else that was ready for pickup or anything.
