I do know that if you have polarized glasses on, without the sticker thingy, it's next to impossible to see the numbers.

On a side note, my new HUD arrived, and it does not buzz as much as the first one. It still buzzes, but not as bad. I'm thinking it's feedback from the LED screen. I have taken it all apart because I'm OCD like that. :goingcrazy:

Ooof this thread is a ride and a half. Received my door bowl lights in a timely manner and I got 4 for the price of 2!

Ordered AC and received DC. Now if only it came with a key to tell me which wires go where. I have 3 different harness numbers...

Also salivating over the HUD but I have more important things to buy...

No problem! And, no reason to delete. Reminders are good.

Okay, I have about 200ish miles on the HUD. So fair enough time to clear up anything or let me know if it's an ongoing issue.

    1. The RPM on the unit will just go in and out for no apparent reason. It could stay up for 30 seconds or 30 minutes before it just blinks off/out. It can then come back up in a few seconds or not at all. Annoying.
    2. The MPH is always 2-4 higher. Even when I set cruise control at 63 and I may dip down to 62 the HUD will display 65-67 MPH. It will also take awhile to catch up when breaking - i.e. when doing a full stop at a stop sign, it takes a bit for it to actually show 0 MPH. If I'm not behind anyone and there isn't anyone else at a 4-way stop the HUD never reaches 0. Again, annoying.

    Anyone else experiencing these issues?

A delay is something I thought of at first too. But the fact that it's constantly higher than what I'm going doesn't seem like a delay to me. On my way home there is a long stretch of highway that I get up to 63 and put it on cruise control. No reason why the HUD should display that I'm going 67.

Could be the chinese conversion from mph to kph and back again or the chinese calibration is out of whack.

I had high hopes for KTJO 4x4 :puke: to pull theirs head(s) out of their ass(es) and straighten shit out when the ban happened. Everything since has only sunken further into the sewer.

I feel for your situation and just can't see a remedy coming from HQ. They had a couple easy things to fix on the handles and just chose to order more of the bad ones.

I was going 7 mph while parked in my driveway the other day. :notsure:

And, yes, the RPM had disappeared, but welcomed back with a push of the center button. I'm always 1-2 MPH off, but it's lower, which is good because my speedo healer for my 285's is 2-3 MPH over my GPS. Go figure.

Obviously I just need to acquire a KM and divide it by an H. Is this something I can get at my local Ace Hardware?
