Also, can that tailgate storage door even latch shut with the burner being stored there? Seems like it wouldn't from the picture.

Custom, only one ever designed and built interiors, heavily welded frame, all sharp metal turned bed rack and a roof top I made for $75. Power pedal, injen intake system, cat delete, summit racing brake proportioning valve controlled on the fly, slightly adjusted or perhaps unrecognizable ECM, built in under bed storage, high clearance rear built with 1/4" on a 6011 1/8" rod at 120 amps, 360 degrees of led light, a PA and CB, on board air, on board propane (to cook food), on board fridge made from an old red bull fridge found on some guys man cave built into the storage cubby under the back seat, imported tranny and clutch from a good friend over in Europe to replace this aisin junk we get, combined 32 gallons fuel capacity, 18 5 gallons of water storage, built in gun locker under RTT, and all it cost was to hear the wife ramble on about upset neighbors at 2 in the morning every night since I bought that damn truck..
As strange as my set ups are, I see many who will try and replicate or duplicate what is already done by me. They often resort to machined cut and ABS plastics but in reality, no one can or ever will be able to be on the level of a reverse engineer who spends nothing but time on builds. Everything is hand built and not as good looking as other products, but they work, not on the weekends, but everyday. Nothing breaks, nothing made in China, and if the quality is sub par, I only need look in a mirror to see who's fault is. This kinda stuff is what you gotta be intense about. I don't and will not keep up with the Jones' down the street for a mall crawler. I build shit that's strong and reliable. That does get me thinking, though, how much better would the appearance be if I had the proper equipment? For the record, my propane line come off a water heater I found in a junk yard while grocery shopping for dodge parts. It's flexible, strong and won't cut itself off when I open and close the tail gate. My added bonus, if the occasion was to ever arise, mine doesn't just have storage, the whole thing can be used a full sized hibachi. Bet no one did that yet!

@tonered Wow this thread/con job is still rolling...yikes. 4Runner owner here. Won't be letting that anywhere near my vehicle. Google/Instagram Carobotor and you will find that once again like everything being sold by that individual, this is an imported Alibaba product being marketed as a " INSERT NAME MARKETING BS original". The Jeep guys have had these for a while and it sounds like they get plenty of dead batteries and vehicles that won't start. Cool concept none the less, just will have extremely poor execution and reliability long term.

Almost pulled the trigger on the grab handle. $170, put in my cart and went to shipping…$90 was the cheapest option. Nah, I’m good thanks.

I ordered Ice Blue and they sent me White. I have written numerous emails to them on their site and replied to emails that they sent to me. I still have white, I guess they don't want to fix their mistake. I don't think I will be getting anything from them again. Good Luck.

Isn’t she based in Cali? I’m in Florida and I know for a fact it doesn’t cost $90 to ship that little box out here.

Rainier Oregon, JNW of Portland on the border.

And, it's a hard pass for me on that display cluster. My HUD/LCD screen is still buzzing. :frusty:

This thread still gives me laughs.

I trust most OBD stuff that I don't plug in permanently. This setup does not inspire confidence.

We call people at work that don't respond to email or return phone calls a diode. Information only flows in one direction.

PSA for the 2018+ Tacoma Heads Up Display:

It totally messes with the OBD port. Remove it before diagnosing or flashing the ECU (including updates from the service department). You've been warned!

The pitfalls of posting pics to TW threads:

The image I posted in post 4214 of this thread ended up on the KTJO4x4 website along with either a made up 5 star review or an actual review from someone in NC.

    My left hand is famous.
