    installed the contraption and did my anti theft tailgate washer mod today. Lower bolt went in no problem, upper bolt, had to force the handle towards the windshield to make it line up enough to start the upper bolt. used a flashlight to look through the top of it to make sure the bolt and its factory bracket were perpindicular so I didnt cross thread it. Definitely took some effort. Looks good though as far as alignment, color, texture, etc. Still waiting to hear back from Katie on my missing upper bolt cover...

    Those of you who got shafted on the covers. Do you think the OEM Toyota ones would work? Found these part numbers just now and they’re only $4 each. Might be a lot less stress than dealing with her.

    texture/color looks pretty good. Is the passenger side cover oversized? maybe I'd be able to use some of my ole dremel/sandpaper craftsmanship to desize it for a fit?
    Maybe my order got delayed because of the mispackaging debacle? and I'll rec'v the correct parts? I can Dream

    I just noticed the #TacomaBeast hashtag so I don’t know if this is their replacement shipment with verified upper and lower covers. I can’t imagine that KTJO instructed TB to open up every box and figure out what they needed. That’s going to cost time and everyone knows time=money. More than likely she would have instructed them to refuse shipment so that she could get them verified product.

    I did have something show up in my Informed Delivery app on the 22nd. I figured it had nothing to do with the handle because first there was a label created then it said USPS Awaiting Item in NY. That's no where near Oregon? I'm not sure what to think as I didn't order anything from NY? Label was created at Stamps.com. Is this at all what you guys that got handles so far have seen? Supposed to be delivered on Monday so we shall see. Fingers crossed..... :fingerscrossed:

    I got one from origin Rainer bit around the same time a ny origin but I think the ny one for me was a patch drop from Singapore that I can’t confirm
