I was very lucky with my order. I feel for you guys that pre-ordered months ago. The fair way to run this would have been first-come, first-served.

Nevertheless, it is basically a good product. In fact it's the only product available if you want your Tacoma cab to be symmetrical. Let's keep this in perspective.

 

And I can choose to do business with her or not. If I had known that my order from November 2019 would get the same priority as an order from November 2020, I would have waited. We all know better now, and I personally wouldn't ever pre-order anything from her again. Best of luck to her the next time she tries to finance a product design/build with pre-orders, she's going to need it.

 

Well, in the spirit of complete transparency, I placed my order last Tuesday. Today I got a shipping notice indicating the label was created but the package is not in the system.

 

Yup. She has a monopoly on that basically good, only product available. Doesn't mean she has to manage order fulfillment like the gov’t would.

 

I would NEVER do a preorder again with her! If Apple treated their preorders like she did, they would be out of business.

 

That is completely whacked that the orders do not go out in the order they were submitted, Its more work to send orders out randomly.

 

It's not random. She's filling new orders to convince new potential buyers to make the purchase. She's already sitting on our money, so there's no motivation for her to fulfill those older orders.

The fact that TB got a whole pallet of them coming, and they weren't part of the pre-order is fucked up.

Seems like the typical Kickstarter updates as well. When things are going well there is lots of communication. When things aren’t going so well there is complete radio silence. I have no idea why “backers” lose faith.

This is the way i understood the email also. Reply if something has changed. I would have just bought from the beast if i had known. Would have been easier and faster.
