Buyer Beware: KTJO 4X4 Driver's Side Grab Handles w/ A Pillars, HUD, and Bowl Lights

Just stopped by to say I received my package. The box looks “ok”. Ordered sometime around the last week of March/first week of April. Have not had the opportunity to open it up and take a look at contents yet.

 

The real question is, when is a better company gonna start making these?

 

Answer: probably never.

 

Welp, went to install mine yesterday and either the bolts are too small or the clip is too large.

Message sent in, I don't expect a reply.

 

The “srs airbag” lettering on mine is curved, as if the plastic was bent after the letters. But the passenger is straight

 

Its got OEM in the label. No way thats false. You camt advertise false claims.......shit, wait a minute....

 

The bolts & clip nut should be M6. Some folks got a M8 clip nut with their hardware, instead of the correct 6mm size.

 

Thanks, I'll check this first thing Monday. Left everything at work as that's where all the mods take place, have a heated and Cooled warehouse to work in.

 

I got mine in a little over a week ago. Ordered at the end of April I think it was.
Other than the bolt covers being a little loose(any suggestions? Tried bending the clips a little more but still looser than it should be and I imagine the next bump I hit they'll come off again) and it being a pain in the ass to get the bolts lined up everything worked out. Took maybe 45 minutes and I had all the correct parts

 

Would love to have a drivers side grab handle but can’t justified the price for a shoddy part. Wonder how many are ordering this part from eBay or another site and not aware of all the problems associated with it.

KTJO 4x4 continues to disappoint.

 

@tonered, @Malvolio, I think I have a bit of a dilemma. Ordered in 2019, cancelled in Dec 2020 and was refunded. Ordered from T Beast and received the product in Feb 2021 (shipped direct from Rainier OR). Handle installed.

Yesterday I get a text and email advising that my items have been shipped. The tracking number shows a DHL package destined for my address. What shall I do if it’s the handle I ordered 1 1/2 years ago but cancelled? Is it a gift? Is it incompetence? Do I return or attempt to sell locally? My wife says to return it. I’ll only do that if she, who shall not be named, deposits the shipping charge into my PayPal account before it goes into the mail. Decisions, decisions.

Maybe I could help out a fellow TWer with piece part?

I’ve had two other instances of the finders, keepers rule. Found a $100 bill on the floor of a car wash at 12:30 am one time. No one else in sight. On another occasion my bank placed $1300 into my account by mistake. I left it there for the bank to reclaim. They never did.
