Buyer Beware of Built NKO

I purchased a TRD Grille and Raptor Lights from Built NKO on Oct. 5th. I received the box with the grille in it on Oct. 19th. No lights. I emailed the company on Oct. 19th and followed up with several more to them about the lights which were paid for. As of today no replies to any of my emails, and of course no lights. I have tried everything I can to find a phone number for them and cannot find one. Not happy at all. I guess my next step is Better Business Bureau, although they already have one complaint there which they didn't answer. Guess they are just a rip off, and I should have investigated further before I ordered from them.

Dispute the charge, that always gets their attention.

 

Your best bet is to dispute it and hopefully they refund you or your credit card company does

 

Good luck, I am tuned in to see what happens. I emailed them a while ago about a stock bolt fitment issue with my trd grille but never got a response. Tried their email and Instagram. They were able to comment and like when I shared their product on my page but then did not reply to my DM hahaha. Hope you have better luck man

From their website the company address is a UPS store. I’d file a complaint with your credit card company as others have said. Also post your experience on the other popular Toyota websites.

DAMN, I have the exact same problem and didn't read this first. I ordered the overpriced grill w lights and no lights show up. They also do not put any packing lists in the box. I fortunately had a screen shot of the text message receipt. That's all they send. It seems these guys basically are not in business and basically just do a pass thru. to other companies to fulfil and don't take any responsibility for their actioins. Im going to dispute my charges as well. I ordered mine right before thanksgiving, it showed up fast but no lights and no responses. annoying.

 

I hate these dropshippers. It’s making it hard for us as consumers. So many scammers using drop shipping to scam people lately. Just buy from legitimate sources to be on the safe side even though prices are a bit higher it’s worth the peace of mind.

 

I Did get a response using the "Refund" email and the response email basically stated that Inbound emails were stuck in spam. They'll be shipping out lights this week. The email that worked is: builtnko@gmail.com

2023 and they still not replying to emails lol had to do a charge back with credit card company. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

No one joins this forum because everything is perfect and they have no issues. They join this forum to find answers about some random issue they're having.

 

I have a grille from them and the front lettering fell off on most of the TACOMA badge insert. Tried to get a replacement badge insert periodically over the last 2 years and I haven’t heard a peep from them and their social media is quiet. I’m assuming they went out of business. Unfortunate since they were great when I got it originally. Had a defect in the paint and they sent me a new one immediately without needing to return the old.
