Got mine installed, and they look and work great! My headlights were shot before, all yellowed and oxidized. They provided pitiful light, so for me this upgrade was more about safety than looks. As such, I took some before/after shots to show just how big an improvement these new lights are. Everyone else just posted glamour shots, so hopefully these pictures will help others understand how well these light up the road (you know, their purpose?).

Best to ask locally then, and suggest others do the same. Red and blue are strictly reserved for emergency vehicles here in California.

He lied red, and blue are illegal. Depends on your state as to whether or not yu get in trouble as long as you're not strobing those colors you shouldn't have any problems with them. Most states outlaw blue, and red usually have to have some type of volunteer certification to run red. That being said if they aren't strobing and you're not acting like a cop or being a dick on the road I doubt anyone will say anything

 

Yea I know. He said they can be changing colors if I'm stopped but if I'm moving they need to be on one color but now blue

Sry this is late. Here are the before and after photos with the retrofits and 3M lens films from ClearMask. If you look close you can see the edge of the film. It's been several months and they still look great. If I were to peel them off the lenses would be like new.

Same exact process as the 05-11. Same pieces in headlights except different shapes man

 

Doin a little mock up to see how this carbon fiber looks. What yall think?
