Buyer Beware: Southern Retrofits / LSC15

Hey guys....just wanted to give everyone an update. I am having issues with my painter right now, just want to be completely honest. He had some family things then had jury duty. Well I have tried getting a hold of him and no luck. I use him because I have always been able to trust him and I have never seen anybody do a better job as you can see in my pics. I have tried resolving this without worrying you guys and just taking the heat for the schedule. Well I am going to make the drive to his shop and see what is going on. If I have to I will start going to a local shop to me. I will let everyone know what i find out...thank you for your continued patience and letting me build your lights!

Do whatever you’ve got to do to get these things out. The only reason I didn’t do them myself was for the convenience of picking out what you’ve already made before that I like and not having to bother my painter friends. I can understand that you may very well be having issues with the painter and that’s out of your control, but you are the one that takes the heat when everyone is wondering where their lights are. Looking at all of the lights you’ve put out so far I haven’t questioned the quality. I think everyone would just like a little more communication. That being said, I’m not trying to give you a hard time man! Transparency goes a long way.

 

Yes sir I appreciate that. I’ve been getting hit with stress from every direction. Trying to handle all this crap and getting it taken care of without worrying or pissing anybody off. Just want to be straight up. I enjoy doing this for all the loyal members

that’d be legit! you have a gun and compressor and all that stuff? when i bought the dupli perfect match it came out like shit when i went to clear it, turned matte and couldn’t see any pearl whatsoever. It was so frustrating trying to rattle can it multiple times

 

Yes but I started to source out the paint a few years ago as that was the bottleneck in my process

 

o cool! so yeah if you could spray and clear it that would be legit as gun is so much better than a rattle can.

I love your work man, been lurking on your thread for a while. Im thinking about placing an order, but I know you have a long list, and issues with your painter. Are you still taking customers, and if so, would you have an estimated time of completion? Thanks for your time.
