Buyers Beware - BAMF Raptor Grilles (3rd gen)

Regardless of the many months behind on orders, they DO NOT offer a full refund. My order is in the middle of the queue somewhere, not even being made yet mind you, and their customer service said I would just lose out on near $100 of the purchase price just to cancel. Seriously?!? Wow...

Just putting it out there if your even considering this style grille it a full commitment without knowing when you'll get this thing. So don't change your mind

I feel like that shouldn't be a surprise though. You're buying a custom aftermarket piece. It's not like you can pick one up at Walmart. Also just keep in mind most fab shops are only 5 people deep or so, at the most...

 

Understandable, however my custom part is not even in production. Not sure why the charge just to cancel something that's not even made yet.

 

Was there a contract signed when deposit was taken? If so, I would be happy to look over he paperwork for you if need be.

Call your credit card provider, explain that your order was promised at date X, and it's Y weeks past that date, and that you want to dispute the transaction. Your full money will be returned in no time.

Delays are not all that unusual, but they can't simply break the purchasing contract (and that's exactly what took place when they promised a product in a certain timeframe and you paid for it) and then hold your money hostage.

 

He is not even close to the minimum 12 week lead time noted on our site. it's not a delay his order is still on track for just after 12 weeks.

 

Damn what a cushy soft work day.

 

Clearly, what we have here is a failure to read the purchase terms.

I'm really sorry to say this OP, but from the sounds of it, your money is lost if you decide to cancel.
