That is definately a badass car. They tested it on Top Gear to see if it really would hit the mph it claimed (which was well over 200mph, i wanna say 233mph off the top of my head but i'm not positive) It needs all 1000+ hp to do it too since it weighs more than a train. It has TEN radiators to keep the engine cool enough. The video was cool though, when you wanna go fast, you put a special key in near the door and the whole thing hunkers down and the spoiler comes out of the back and it takes off.

Top Gear also did a review of the M5 and he hated it with a passion.... until he switched it to sport mode and then he drove with an erection for the rest of the test. He said outside of sport mode its a completely worthless machine. I hate how auto companies with a tradition of race inspired cars try to combine luxury and sportyness. Apparently, in the m5, if you are not in sport mode the car constantly "talks" to you through the nav system and is impossible to turn off. During the show he starts yelling at the voice to shut up cause he's trying to host a TV show. Its pretty funny.

Wow, faster than i thought. I knew it was some ridiculously insane speed. I bet it handles like a brick though. Either way 1million is alot of money for a car. I wonder what Geico would do if i called them up and tried to insure it...

    Couldn't imagine the insurance---probably around 30,000-50,000 $ a year

None currently, but I would like a better sounding exhaust and perhaps a cold air pack and some color coded step bars
TuRDTaco, yep I have had a few of the round ovals myself, one of which was a Mass. State Police cruiser that was clocked at 132 in pursuit of someone. At that time the wonderful State of Mass. was selling the old cruisers thru there local Oval dealership(I hate to date myself but this was in the early 60's) and they often had 20 vehicles at a time. Of course the good ones were the Lt's cars and lots of them had standard shifts and low mileage. We even had that GT350 with the glorius pipes which exited just in front of the rear wheel and there were not but just a few of those all white with blue striped Mustangs around. They sure had all the good stuff and a dealer in R.I. was into racing Stangs and Fords and had an in with Shelby and still does today, as they are the only authorized Shelby dealer on the east coast.

Due to our emission and inspection laws I don't believe that we could get away with a similar mod as your taco. You got it right, sure sounds nice.

I hauled a load of ammo in the Taco today.
Not too many boxes on the 200 lb. rated tailgate. Plus loader.
12 .50 and a few 30 Cal. boxes made an impression.
    This is no Power Wagon.

we have emissions here but not inspections, they just plug in the obd2 and read for codes. the o2 sensors are just before and just after the first converters so it never threw a code from removing the other two. i just hope they dont look under it lol

yep, that sounds exactly right. The guys on top gear tested the 253mph claim on VW's track in germany and they were able to git it. Do you know what it weighs? they said it on the show but i forgot.

Edit: i looked it up, it weighs 4162.33 lbs

Is that TKR even in production yet? I don't think it is. Everything that i have seen so far has been merely press releases. Unless there is another car you are talking about. And you have admit the most amazing thing about the Veyron is that it has all the luxuries you would want out of a vehicle including air conditioning, but still with over 1000hp.

There is one the Barabus TKR. Last time I saw anything about it was that it wasn't production yet but it beat out the Veyron by 20 mph. It was only a V8 though twin turbos. I think it was mostly carbon fiber. I remember it was estimated to be around $500,000.
