Buying a 1st gen for first time driver

I'm definitely not looking for a car and not a beater he doesn't drive like crazy I've let him drive my truck around with his friends and it hasn't come back with and dents scratches or anything and he's even taken it to the car wash lol cuz he said I left it dirty... All he wants to do to it is lift it and some rims and tires nothing crazy he's not into the wheeling I do I took him and he wasn't to fascinated lol

 

its fine to get him the taco, people just get this notion of its a shame to damage a nice first gen and they see a first time driver "learning" in something so rare to find a good one now days, and that's the naysayers comments. if he wrecks it, yes it will be sad to see, but if he is a good driver who pays attention and doesn't get into wrecks with it or rags it out, it will be the best investment he can make
