Well today, i have got a nice Bavarian style pilsner with traditional German malts and noble hops. Very refreshing!

peeing in a jug is a little more difficult in a manual for one.

One dude opining on YouTube is worth the same to me as a comment on TW. That said I listened to a part of the video, not all, and if he is right about manual transmissions then I would say the same thing will be true about purely fossil fuel consumer vehicles. They won’t exist. Not saying he is right, but to me the two are congruent.

That was really difficult to read. Just use normal words, proper grammar, and there is no need to use a thesaurus to come up with a synonym for “the same”.

Wow you got awfully defensive there. No need to get your panties in a bunch. Regardless of whether they will be or not, I’ll still have gotten my money’s worth out of my truck, which I always have with my Tacomas. If you think the auto industry is going to make those leaps and bounds in the next 10 years, and become realistic to the average consumer, I think you’ll be disappointed. There will still be average joes reaching out for these trucks, and if mine specifically doesn’t sell, it’ll be worked to its death. Either way it’s a win-win for me.

You are comments? No just saying a YouTube opinion is the same as a TW opinion to me. Not extra valid because he took the time to make a video. Just my opinion maybe I’m wrong.

not the least bit of emotion is tied to a manual vs. auto debate. I’ll drop the exclamation + question mark combo next time since it is apparently a trigger.

90% of utilities have set the goal and made several steps toward going 0 emissions by 2050. With electric school buses on the way and self driving tractor trailers being researched, I think electric vehicles will soon become the norm. Maybe not 10 years soon, but it’s certainly on the way, and soon. Did I say it’s happening soon?

Saw a vid recently by Pickup Truck+ and SUV Talk about hydrogen cell big rigs. Developed and in use by (drum roll)... Toyota! Sounds much more promising than straight-up batteries. At least to me.

Just noticed a bit of passion in your tone that’s all. I’m not doubting or rejecting the transition to more advanced vehicles, I’m simply stating that it’ll still be some time for those innovations to be consumer friendly and cost effective. On the timeline of my truck ownership, this transition doesn’t concern me or my potential future actions with the truck. At the end of the day it’s a piece of metal that moves down a path at speed.

the hydrogen cell stuff definitely seems more reliable and a better solution compared to electric imo. I still get freaked out about North Korea dropping the EMP and all the electric powered cars becoming useless

"Your". It's late, I'm tired. I don't normally make that mistake. But this is fun. And I spent too much energy on getting "else's" right!

I was just poking at the irony in your statement, but I don't disagree with you at all. Unless you need to ask what tire size/lift combo works. Or what gas mileage you got in your 2 mile drive downhill after a fillup. I can't get enough of that!
