He raised the price, so when low-ballers like you make a lower offer, it seems like a deal.

Time for TW to start lowballing offers? I'm thinking $13k

It's going to cost roughly 12k to fix that truck. I am thinking like 5000 for it.

All my Toyota trucks were auction purchased. Salvage title. My cap is $15k.

You do know there is not many banks will loan money to purchase salvaged cars?

I didn't look at the add, but $17k is not uncommon.

If it was worth anything a low end body shop would have bought it and fixed it. But there is no money in it.

Hey man, there is a lot of people talking here but i few has done... I buy and sell salvage cars all the time, you must buy it at the right price, that one is a little too high, you want to buy a S. car counting everything you need to do on the car and ones is done and whatever cost you , should be half of KBB price for a Clean title. You can sell salvage easy, and every time more often people realise that a lot of salvage cars are not a big deal and they are drivable, if the car is for you even more reason, you can drive it for a few years and I m sure you get at least the money you put on if not more.. I did many Porsches, corvettes and mustangs, as well a Tundra, after selling it, I got 5k over of what cost me, I m doing now a tacoma 2016 with only 10k miles, minor damage.
The important things to do yourself, not to buy parts directly to dealer, are too expensive, you can find many websites and ebay is the best place to find cheap parts, and if you have body work is easy to buy panels on ebay than trying to fix, if is interior body find a cheap body work on a lower income neighbourhood, there is plenty very cheap and they do a good job.

I won't buy the one you show here, I will pay max 10-12 for that one... or go to copart, you can see for how much are selling those.

    Good luck

Rear wheel is MIA, that's the spare. Probably has some suspension/steering damage. If it was an "easy fix" they'd be doing it themselves.

    This.

If it was as easy as he was advertising, then I doubt he would be selling it for this. Most guys who do this have their own contacts to save on fixing stuff as it is and would of likely done it already if that avenue seemed WORTH IT.

They don't salvage a truck for "very light damage"
