It just has to meet CA emissions standards... so, I’d check with The stealership before purchasing.

My opinion..keep shopping bro. There will be SOMEONE who can get you a deal. Try further up North..805 credit score is damn good..you should be able to get a good deal with that, and with a dp like that..you'll find something. Call and ask around to other dealerships

Wait, so someone with good credit in California still has a $700 payment? I know I'm not the best at the maths, but that seems...

    Yeah.
Yeah, I didn't do the math but agree with some of the others. First know what you are paying for the truck, not what the payments will be. Man, CA is crazy.

There's a black Pro sitting on a local lot here. Offer them MSRP, fly out here and drive it home for way less.

I second what @TenBeers said. Find another out of state, fly out, road trip that thing back home and still pay a hell of a lot less than what they are asking for

What was the msrp on the truck they quoted? What is the price they quoted? Too many variable when negotiating on payment amount. What dealer in so-cal? I bought my pro at msrp in so-cal but t took a bit of work to find a legitimate dealer.

That I'm not sure. Both of my cars when I lived there were gifts. I'd say consult with someone at DMV where you'd have to get it registered for new plates,or hell even ask the out of state dealership you contact

There is a lot of things I could do with an extra $700 a month... I was pissed seeing 335 come out for 3 months. I quickly paid that shit off.

    Payments are for the birds.

Dude you are getting ripped off bad! Stop shopping by monthly payment. The ONLY number that matters is the sale price. Never bargain by payment! If you credit is really that good then you should get a loan at under 3%. Use a loan calculator to enter the sale price, your down payment and 3% interest to see what the monthly payment is.

Assuming you can get one at MSRP of 44k, then add TTL of about 11% in CA makes that sales final price 48,840. Now subtract 6500 for a loan amount of 42340 at 3% interest and 72 months is 645 a month. So they are asking you to pay $55 a month more then if you paid MSRP. That’s a 4K markup over MSRP. Run away unless they remove that 4K markup to drop your payments to $645.
