That's one of the reasons I bought my Tacoma in the first place. I knew that it would well outlast my payments. once it was paid for I started saving for something that I would enjoy and was fun to drive. Resale and reliability are key factors in purchasing a Tacoma. I eventually bought a 2014 Camaro SS.

I'm already in the process of scouting my next project car (would be my second car). 1989-1993 Mustang 5.0. Good thing about having a nice, comfortable, reliable Tacoma is there is no rush to buy another vehicle so I can wait for the just right one to come along.

Congrats on the Cobra! My wife has a Grand Cherokee, which suffices for the family hauler. I also have a '67 Cougar, for a running/driving project. I hope to always have some form of rotating 3rd "fun" car. My wife has been hinting at punting the Cougar and getting a Wrangler for our fun, bounce around vehicle.

Thank you! I'll be sure to post some more pictures when I get it all cleaned up, detailed, and waxed.

67 Cougar, any pics? Sounds fun

Here's one picture of the Cougar. I just finished up installed a Wilwood disc brake setup on the front. I'm still on the fence of more work on it, or selling it and starting down the road of another project.

Both beautiful Fox's. Can't wait to get back into one. Here's the one I stupidly let go:

How it looked when I sold it:

Well since we've derailed this thread to mustangs, here was my last mustang I sold in 2015:

Thanks! I loved that car. Didn't touch the engine but a lot of suspension work (Maximum Motorsports) and 3.73 gears, among other minor things. Handled awesomely. It did have a CEL problem with the butterfly valves in the intake that was intermittent and bugged the crap out of me.

Yess do it. In the mean time, here was my 2013 5.0 that I ended up selling. Hoping the cobra fills that empty place in my heart.
