My birthday is on the 30th, so I plan to get myself a new smart phone as a early gift.

I am completely lost on which is better than the other. I want Youtube, Facebook, Im and Vz Navigator. I would really like to be able to download the cool apps and games like the Iphone has, as well as efficient texting and calling

Can anyone lead me in the right direction?

I love the iPhone. Not a fan of AT&T.

Had a Android. Didn't like the phone. Bought a Blackberry off of Ebay a few weeks ago an love it.

Sorry for leaving out the provider, I'm with Verizon. Do any of the smart phones have fairly decent internet browsing and Youtube?

I will look up the Iphone 4 and the Driod.

I have the Droid X. With the new Android 2.3 update, IT ROCKS!!!!

The only thing bad about android is the texting platform, but just download the app "handcent sms" and you have the Iphone texting layout.

I love this phone, it continues to amaze me every day. Wouldn't want anything else.

Iphone 4 FTW, The iphone is more polished than the android phones. I Tried a Android phone, hated it. now, im back with an iPhone. The only good thing is the android is more personalized. But if your wanting a smoother phone, iphone is the way to go.

Well said, to me the droid is like a windows computer, you have to continue to screw with it to get it right. The iPhone like mac's just work out of the box. I had an evo 4g and lots or friends with droits and they are huge battery hogs.

I'm a BB man. I can't stand that the iPhone is touch-screen only. But if you are looking for lots of entertaining apps, that might be the best way to go.

The Iphone 4 and Droid X2 also seem to be very popular online.

I see they both are offered around the same price with the contract online, which is cheaper with just an upgrade?

Thank you all so much for help!

I went to AT&T and told them I was thinking about going to a different carrier and they gave me the iPhone 4 for the upgrade price.
