Buying A Tacoma

Hi Everyone,
Im going out tomorrow to go look at a 2009 Tacoma SR5 V6. I was wondering what things i should look for. Like anything commonly found on that gen or year.

What is your location? depending on answer, frame rust is always a good place to start.

 

agreed...there was a lot of frame replacement from Toyota on certain 2nd gens...id look into that

Okay ill take a look at it when i get there tomorrow i have a few friends coming with me to look at it also.

 

any car you look at...always check cv boots, all the hoses, engine bay, check oil(see what color it is, smell it) does it start right up? ya know...basic shit

 

okay thanks. im going from an 03 Eclipse GTS to this and its all sorta new to me with the whole truck scene so i want to make sure im looking at everything.
