Buying a used tacoma

About to buy a 2008 200k miles
For 8k. Runs great an has little to no rust. But the mikes have me bit concerned.

Need to know a LOT more about the truck to say. A 5 lug 2wd regular cab with the 2.7 and a manual transmission is a lot different than a 4X4 double cab TRD with the 4.0 and an automatic.

If the price reflects the miles and you can afford to pay for some repairs if needed then it might be a good deal. High miles don't necessarily scare me, if I put most of them on the truck. I bought my 07 new and it has 202,000 on it today and I'm not the least bit worried about it. But I'd have to get a very good price to buy another unknown truck from someone with that many miles on it.

But I'd rather take my chances with a 2nd gen Tacoma than just about anything else out there with over 200K on it.
