Got the later 5th gen facelift while it was in the shop too..
Better than new, bearing a rebuilt title that will never matter to me.
Fully insured, with no diminished value should it be totaled a second time..

just an update, it got the replacement body panels painted. I didn’t bother blending adjacent panels for now, i just figured I’d paint the replacement ones and see how it matched. I bought a cheap 2 stage kit for Barcelona red.

As you can see, it turned out darker than the rest of the truck. But it’s fairly close, good enough for now. At some point down the road I’ll repaint and blend into the adjacent panels.

Also, as an idiot with a cheap spray gun and limited painting experience, metallic paint is tough to paint! But it’s a good learning experience and I don’t mind imperfect paint, maybe by the 10th time I paint one of my vehicles I’ll have it all figured out.

Also got some vision bronze wheels and Falken wildpeaks! It’s not for everyone but I love the bronze on red.

Mazel Tov OP! You clearly have a proper perspective; it's just a truck. As my dearly departed brother used to say, "that's a great looking 10-footer!"

Yes. He has no idea what he's doing and he butchers those vehicles. They're unfit for use on the road. If they're trail only rigs, fine. If he puts his family in those vehicles and drives on the street, he's a fucking asshole.
