I'm looking at this Tacoma here and hoping to get some opinions:

    http://www.repo.com/report/40415/235676

With only 160,000 KMs (not miles), $13,640.00 CAD is a really good deal and this is the exact truck I'm looking for with crew cab and long box.

However, this is a repo car and from the pictures look a bit beat up. I've heard that a lot of the time these trucks are from Alberta oil companies etc and used in pretty rough environments. It definitely does not look like what I would expect a 2005 with that few KMs on it would look like.

Do you think this one is worth checking out or does it look in too rough shape to consider?

    Thanks!

That truck is worth more in the used market cause of the rising gas prices, everybody is rushing to unload their gas guzzler full size pickups for a small pickup with better gas mileage , they can't live without owning a pickup.
Smart dealers know this, to the dealer that used Tacoma is like gold to him, it goes up in value as gas prices go up.

I predict gas will be past $4 gal in 12 days and $5 by July 4 and somewhere around $7 by summer of 2012

want a good investment? go out and buy a Chevy Volt, or a Nissan Leaf and hide it away in storage for 2 years, you'll double your money
another good investment,, stock up on beer, beer will be used and traded as money in the near future, (beer was used as money during Hurricane Katrina)
Thats a Fact Jack! (Bill Murry)
