Here is a review I recently posted about the purchase of my 2016 DCLB OR. I was recommended Shauna at Midstate by a member on here and wanted to pass on this gem to everyone else.

Nothing but great things to say about Shauna East and Midstate Toyota for buying a new truck. I know exactly what I want and how I want it, which makes me a pain in the backside to work with. I also expect great service and constant updates. I purchased a 2016 Tacoma from Shauna and she catered to my every need. She is firm but fair when it comes to pricing and finding exactly what you want. She met my every need in terms of communication and customer service. Purchasing this Truck felt more like a private party sale then a dealership sale. There were no games, no sales manager in the ivory tower licking his lips and sneering over the contract. There was just complete professionalism. Shauna knew I didn't want to be called, so we emailed the entire time. She ordered exactly what I wanted and gave me a very accurate timeline. When I traveled to the dealership with my wife and toddler, she made the paperwork process quick and to the point; no up-selling or mistakes. If I ever need a new Toyota, I will work with Shauna and Midstate again!

Yes. We did everything except the final paperwork via email and she was 100% true to her word. Hard to find someone/dealership like that.

Do you need to know, or care?
Finding a dealer you can trust and gives good advice is always in your best interest. Glad you could find one OP, I have one also and helps a long way to make purchasing a much better experience.

I actually purchased through her as well. She was good to work with, but I don't know if she deserves her own thread! Now if she knocked $10k off MSRP I might reconsider.

The lifetime powertrain warranty that Midstate offers is nice though. Hopefully if we ever need to use it, we will actually be able to!

Compared to the other dealers around the Triangle and all other dealership experiences I have had, she was pretty awesome. I don't know how some of these places stay in business.

Best I could do near me for a DCLB OR 4X4 in quicksand. There were none to be had and every dealership knew it. If I wanted blue, I could have gotten invoice elsewhere.

Your welcome! BTW, did the bumper make the front suspension sag on stock setup?

I have Old Man Emu Pre-16' Heavy coils, and 5mm trim packers added. Between the bumper, and Warn Zeon 10k, yes it did settle.
