Got my Texas Edition badges (2) yesterday. Black, round and about 3 inches wide. Also ordered another Texas Edition badge, for the tailgate, also black and approx 9.5 inches long, 3 inches wide.

The round badges will go, if you have an access cab, in the same position as where the SR5 badges go.

The other one for the tailgate, I'll have to see when I get the truck where it looks Best.

I have the "TRD Pro" badge too. It will also go on the tailgate. I may remove the V-6 badge and put either the Pro or Texas one in its place.

Hmmm, I thought you were in NE and had to double check. Why Texas edition, and not New England edition?

Hard to tell from the pics, but you may have the wrong type of lug nuts. I would double check to make sure you have the right ones. Toyota wheels require Mag style lugs. May be why youre seeing so much silver.

Hahahaha, we are, but I was Born and raised in the Great State of Texas! Plus I couldn't find one that read: "TAXACHUESETTS". LOL

Moving within a year or two to retire, haven't decided to keep a house up here or not. Gets mighty hot come summer time in that Texas sun.

I'd like to see someone post a close up pic of the lugs. Probably the same for everyone. It's a minor issue, but I don't like the shiny aluminum showing around the edges of the lugs. Black Rims, No Shiny Stuff, please. LOL

    UPS has Delivered, Yahoooooo!

The TRD Pro Grille has been delivered.

    Box was in Excellent Condition

    Contents in Perfect Condition

I like the way they put the smaller box w/a Free Toyota Blanket inside. Blanket is about 3'X4' in size.

Anyway, they put that smaller box in the center of the grille, inner/tab side, which I believe kept the grille from being able to bounce/move around. Which didn't allow the tabs to accidentally break off.

    Here's a couple pics!

Never even heard of or seen a N.E. Edition.

    Is there such a thing?

The 9.5 inch long Tx Ed badge isn't a Toyota product.

Chevy, think they use it on a couple of their vehicles

The Silverado for sure. Can't remember the others.

But I really like the look of it.

Our Tundra is a OEM Texas Edition from the factory.

Which means it has the color matched fender flares, the TRD dual exhaust, and the aluminum running boards. Inside, the two-tone heated leather seats, shifter knob and a few other things.

I'm going to paint it a dark gray. Only because I'm going to paint the front valance black, and I think the Skid Plate won't show as well with too much black. Will see how it looks, can always switch back to Black.

Probably do the Tow Bracke in the same dark gray, and the Shackle I'll do in some sorta Red! Gotta match my hair color! LOL

Thanks for posting, but unfortunately I can't really see the area around the lugs.

My issue is I'll be using the black lugs, and around them you can see the shiny aluminum. I was just wondering if everyone has that same problem. I know it's a crazy minor, but I pay close attention to every little detail. The pic I posted you can see what I mean, so as of now my quick fix will be a couple shots of matte black Plasti-Dip.

    image.jpg
    image.jpg

You can see in that second pic that the aluminum really shows/shines. Gotta make that disappear! Plasti-Dip! Probably be my go to fix, since it's not permanent.

Painted my Skid Plate and Tow Hook Bracket Dark Gray. Since I'll be painting my fender flares and front valance black, I thought the Skid Plate just won't show in all the black background.

Plus if I don't like how it looks I can easily change it back to black.

Before and after of the Skid and the now dark gray bracket

Picked up a Shackle for the tow hook yesterday at Home Depot, and hope to get a couple coats of Red/Orange paint on it today!
