So I'm thinking I'm going to need a "Punch List" for the dealership when I finally go and pickup my new truck.

Punch List: Anything and Everything I need to do prior to driving it off the lot.

TSBs? I'm only aware of the trans fluid possible being low.

Think I saw something about the grease fittings on the driveshaft, some not properly greased/if at all.

Anyway, please help! Like to have my list in hand so I can check off everything prior to handing over the check.

I'll be dropping off my wheels/tires and a few other accessories as soon as it arrives and the service department will install. So they will have the truck for several hours. Like to get everything done at that same time!

    Thanks everybody!

Starting to look over leather seat options. Found a few I like, I know, I need my truck first. Hahaha

Pretty sure I'm going with the TRD Sport logo, have to wait until I physically have the truck to really decide what color looks best IMO. Definitely want to go with a two-tone!

Well I got my credit card bill and they did Not charge me a 3% exchange rate fee from when I purchased my TRD Pro Grille.

I bought it from cochranetoyota/in Canada and my card was charged a total of: $374.59.

I was expecting an additional $11.24, 3% fee, that's what my card company had told me. Hey, so far so good. Maybe it will appear on my next bill, or not!

I think I may keep the wheels, and sell just the crappy OEM tires.

Plus you save a lot of money. I was surprised how much cheaper you can get the same exact part, OEM or the same vender Toyota uses.

Plus the last part of my negotiation, after agreeing on a number, I said "well let's talk to Bob and have him agree to install all my accessories & wheels/tires swap at No Charge. Then I'll sign the paper"

Oh, Bob is the manager in charge of the service department and the parts department. Didn't bother with the service manager, he's a jerk and woulda probably said he'd only pay half. What a jerk.

Today I might Plasti-Dip my TRD Pro Grille. Want it more of a Matte Black, and I might Dip the letters White. If the White is too bright I may go with a Dark Gray.

Pic of the Before & After I Dipped the TRD Pro Grille

I'll do the Toyota letters tomorrow in Dark Gray

Grille has about 7-8 coats of Matte Black

Don't like the shiny look, so Matte Black it is, and if I don't like the results I can always remove it.

Ok, dipped the "TOYOTA" letters today!

Dark Gray, and I really like it. Thought about going white, but I think the gray works best for my taste. Not too bright, more subtle and calm!

Tomorrow I'll use the aftercare spray, suppose to make it smoother and gives it an extra layer of protection. Ordered it from dipyourcar.

Today I applied several coats of the "Dip Coat" aftercare spray. Wiped it on with a micro-fiber towel, per instructions, and will do it again in a few days. Looks like it absorbs into the dip and did make it a little smoother.

It definitely made the Matte Black look darker. Also has a slicker feel, so it should be a lot easier to clean.

The Dip Coat isn't a "glossafier". It does increase the shine, it actually makes/gives it more of a "wet" look.

Probably hard to see in those last two pics I posted. But the last one is after a couple coats of the Dip Coat and it looks almost the same, just a darker/wetter look.

Definitely not a "shiny" look like before it was dipped. Just Darker & Wetter!

I would not use those hooks for any kind of vehicle extraction. I would not use chains of any kind for that matter. Get yourself some good 3/4 shackles(d-rings) and 2 good 20 foot straps with eyelets at both ends
