Last week I got a call, actually they left a message, that my Loyal Customer check was on its way. Checked my mail and sure enough I got a check from corporate Toyota.

Thank you Toyota, that was a really nice surprise!

When I got serious about buying a new truck I called the 800 number to see if/what incentives Toyota had for my region.

Turned out they had nothing, or nothing that would help me with my purchase.

So the young gal I spoke with said since I've been a long time Toyota customer, this was going to be our 5th new Toyota purchase, she said she would look into it and see if she could provide us with some sort of purchase assistance.

She called back the very next day and said she had a Loyal Customer Incentive she could provide us. Good for one year, starting that day, towards the purchase of any new or certified Toyota.

Once we purchased our new vehicle she said to fax them a copy of the Purchase & Sales Agreement and I would get a check shortly after.

So I did the above, and just like a week later I got a message that they had received my fax and they were cutting a check!

Glad I made that phone call. Actually I had made several phone calls prior to making our purchase. I even emailed back and forth with the President of Toyota Manufacturing, the Texas Plant.

So to anyone visiting the Texas plant mention to whomever is giving the tour if they ever heard of The Mutant Taco! Hahaha

Not sure it can be offered after the fact. I see it from their perspective as an enticement to get you to purchase a Toyota.

That's true. You could ask and not mention you already made the purchase. Not sure how updated their system is, but all my past vehicles were in the system. So she already could see all the vehicles I previously bought.

The Mutant Taco is about to go!

Its that time, trading it in for a Cement Limited 21 Tundra.

Had 3 previous Tundras prior to the taco and I miss all the space and power of a V8

Put a down payment and the Tundra was built this week. Probably looking at 4-6 weeks before it arrives.

Not thrilled that dealerships aren’t budging on price, No Discounts, Sticker Price, which is Crazy so I guess I lost my mind.

Just gotta have that Big V8 motor and it’s the last chance/year so the deal was done.

Have to say tho I’m pleased with the trade-in. Usually they lowball you but I’m happy with the deal other than paying sticker price. Plus everything is already sold way way before it reaches the dealer lot. I guess I’m not the only one wanting the last year V8s

    The Mutant Taco is gone.

Got my new 21 Tundra Cement Limited Edition Double Cab 4X4

Mod began the moment it hit the driveway!
