Hello all, first off I have received TONS of great information on this site, I have just never had the chance to create an account.

Now that I'm finally able to purchase my first Tacoma I have come to the forums for the best answer.

As of now I am looking at the Craigslist and have decided to look at 3 different Tacoma's this weekend.

What I would like to know from you all, is if YOU were to purchase one of these tacomas, why would you do it, or why wouldn't you do it?

Keep in mind: color, trim package, engine size etc.

Ignore condition (for the sake of not knowing), and Carfax history as I will look into these closer after looking at them.

    So here they are!

    Tacoma #1 - 2008 Tacoma Access Cab V6 45k miles TRD off-road package in Silver 4x4

Tacoma #2 - 2009 Access Cab V6 55k miles TRD Sport Package in Dark Blue 4x4

    Tacoma #3 - 2009 Access Cab 4 cylinder, 4x4, crimson red 74k miles

We will say the price is 19,000 for Tacoma 1, 20,000 for Tacoma 2, and 16,000 for Tacoma 3.

    What do you guys think?

#1 for sure. V6 4x4 Off Road wins every time over sport or any 4cyl.

Silver looks like it's in better shape. Headlights are nice and clear

If you're going on color alone, I'd go silver, but it also is the best out of the three. Obviously the carfax, location the truck is from, price and frame condition are the most important things to look at IMO. If you don't wheel a lot, have the e-locker isn't a huge deal, but I'd much rather keep a silver truck clean over a navy one. If you did get the navy one I'd throw that bull bar in a dumpster :D

I'll give you a TW discount on mine... it's silver.

Great information. I am also thinking the silver. Best color and TRD off-road with lowest miles

Blue all the way, and ditch the damage multiplier.

Any Tacoma with a long bed is the way to go in my opinion and I've had both the short bed and long bed.
So I can speak from experience of owning both.
