local dealer has a 2005 pre runner sr5 w/ the 2.7 manual, single cab short bed. 64k miles

asking 13 but the bank would only approve 10,9.

so my question is what to look for? the truck doesnt have any rust hardly at all just a little tiny bit in the engine bay. i believe it was coated but its also from cali. frame recall and leaf springs and all that are still open but the truck was immaculate. called a local dealer and he told me everything besides the frame could be done in a day and to wait after the next winter to have the frame checked to make sure it cant last hopefully i harsh missouri winter to truly test it. also the tailgate is perfect it hasnt been bent yet. i was wondering if you guys knew where i could get a solid reinforcement without spending alot or having a silver piece of diamond plate laying on it. ill only haul 1-2 dirtbikes in it (250 four strokes) 2 guys and some gear. mainly a commuter, just dont wanna mess a tailgate up from standing on it trying to load a bike

ive done tons of research and they seem reliable i just want some firsthand advice from the guys that drive them. the truck is awesome and seems fairly priced by the bank atleast. and i would like to join the toyota community!
