What sort of 'insulation' is the dealer installing in your tires? I got air in mine at no charge.

Better off buying from a tire store than the STEALER. I would check around for the best deal. Goodyear sells other brands as well. I bought my Nittos from them & got a great deal with road hazard & lifetime balance & rotate included.

i would go with generals, they are proven durable tires. Those are the tires of choice for my cousins class 7 ranger and now more and more off road races are switching to general they are getting very good reviews

since your doing a lot more city driving id get BFG A/T KO's.. theyre awesome tires and i know a lot of people on here will vouch for them...

i havnt heard so much about general tire except that theyre used on trophy trucks a lot...
if you really want a M/T i would get these (its what im getting next)

I put the Westin Bull Bar and Side Steps (in black) on.
I just got the General Grabber AT2 on my 07 Tacoma. So far I have been happy with them. I'm in Wisconsin and we are now getting some snow. They handle pretty well. There is a definite difference in road noise (obviously! - they are ATs). I still think that I need some sand bags in the back of my truck though. Not really for snow, but more for ice. I'm going to throw a couple hundred pounds back there and see how it is. Good luck man.

OH YEAH. . . . . AND BUY ONLINE!!! Shop around and get a good price. It'll be cheaper than what you are going to pay. Should be less than $600 for the tires. About $100 for shipping. And maybe another $100 to get the mounted and balanced. Only paying taxes on $100 then..... JUST SAYIN'.... :D

What type of insulation are they putting in your tires? Did you mean "installation"?
