Nope, Tom Scott Toyota. Its actually in Nampa, about a 15 minute ride from the airport.
Mark Phillips was good to work with, and they knew what to do regarding the out of state paperwork.

I only got $500 off sticker. I'm sure I could have done better, but I was super short on time and wanted this specific truck.
Called the dealership Friday afternoon, Mark had to put a stop on the dealer trade that was set up for it, worked Saturday, and flew out Memorial Day Monday.

Im also buying out of state. I was going to buy in Oregon too like the OP (thanks Launch21v), but unfortunately the vehicle I wanted was not part of their regional allocation and was harder to get (I wanted a 2WD TRD, but they only get 4WD due to the inclement weather in Oregon).

I found another dealer in Las Vegas that let me order a 2017 last month. I already put the deposit down and got a build date, truck should be here in the middle of Sept.

All said and done, I probably saved about $2800 buying out of State than in Souther California - plus it give me a reason to go to Vegas. I just went to a local dealership last week to buy an old filter for my old Tacoma and still saw $2000 market adjustment markup on their new Tacomas.

When I was shopping in AZ they were willing to discount 4x2's much more than 4x4's. I had an offer on a 4x2 from a dealer for $3000 off of msrp. This was kind of an odd configuration though. It was a white sport with the orange interior. It may have contributed to the discount but I didn't pursue it to find out.

Yeah, I was also looking at AZ too, but the drive was longer and boring. At least with Vegas, I could find a one way $39 flight, hang-out, then drive back.

I live in Mississippi but have bought all 6 of my Toyotas from the same dealer in Mobile,AL. When I purchase there I have the choice of taxes either being included in the deal or not. I always tell them to be sure the taxes are included. I only have to pay 5% tax required by MS. I do not pay any AL tax. The dealer I use ends up cutting a check for taxes to my local courthouse/tax collector which is mailed to the courthouse. After the courthouse receives the check they call me and let me know and then I am able to show up there and register my vehicle in MS and buy my tag.

I see you're in NOLA! (Are you in Bucktown??)

I bought a 15 4R there just days before moving to CA. I had great success with Lakeside. Garrett Drez. I had a very small window of time to work with, he found exactly what I wanted in Tx and had it brought over the next day.

Findlay Toyota told me 10 weeks. At 6 weeks they had no additional information for me. They did refund me my deposit though.

Did you have to pay California sales tax? I tried to buy from them and they told me the sales tax was none negotiatable and I still had to pay $180 worth of "registration fees" which was way down from the original $430 they started at

If you register your truck in California you'll be paying the difference in sales tax when you get back home. The only way around it would be if you had a residence outside of California that you could register the truck to. I have a cousin that lives in Oregon and thought about trying to figure out a way to register the truck there since there's zero sales tax and registration fees were peanuts compared to California. Came to the conclusion it was too much hassle and bit the bullet and paid taxes once I got back home.

For registration fees I paid $15 for a 21 day pass to get home and go to my local dmv. The dealership sent my title to my local dmv and it was very easy. Just save yourself a headache and make an appointment with the dmv.

Yes, I pad CA sales tax at the dealer and then paid the difference when I got back to NV. A few CA dealers were stuck on making me paying CA registration and then dealing with my state when I got home, clearly that wasn't going to fly. So Tustin Toyota charged me $20 for a one way pass back to NV to register my vehicle which I was cool with. I think there was about $50 difference in the sales tax I had to pay when I got home
