Why 4 trucks? For a business, what will they be used for?

    1 for me, 1 for a friend, 1 for a cousin and 1 for uncle :) and personal use (fishing/camping/home depot/commute)

Two more cousins will be getting the 2 2017 4runners from the same dealership.

Interesting everyone involved wanted new vehicles at the same time, and the same type of vehicles.

We've been looking for over a year, but skipped the first year model (2016). Glad we did.

I am looking for a 2017 Tacoma Sport double cab long bed 4x4 with the premium JBL option. I contacted the dealership in Oregon. I received three quotes. The first one was for the quicksand which comes with the premium without the JBL, tow package, mud guards, floor mats. The MSRP is $39603 (includes the $940 delivery charge) with a discount price of $37748. The second one was the black with the premium JBL, tonneau cover, floor mats, tow package. The MSRP is $40829 with a discount price of $38855. The third one (no spec sheet) was for the Off Road with the MSRP of $40728 and discount price of $38354. I am in California about an 8 hour drive from the dealership. I think these prices are high.

I'm sure better deals can be found. I found the experience to be great working with them. It was no nonsense and everything went exactly as it was stated. Your prices are close to what I paid but I paid less. I'm sure it has to do with the price increases on the 17's. I got mine before they raised the prices on the 16's in May.

Old school thinking. I am still driving the first year 2nd gen. Just passed 310k miles on it. Not bad for an 11yr old truck

After having the 2 tsb's done, having the tranny topped off and just doing routine maintenance my 16 has been great. Nothing is perfect but I've been more than happy with my truck. Hope yours is just as good.

I hope so. Our 4 trucks will not be delivered until end of October. Hope they will include all the fixes in our batch.

No, we'll drive there. 5 hours drive. We are planning to take one truck and have a road trip to San Jose, then pick up the other 3 trucks on our way back. Should be fun.

Seriously, I think this dealer should give you some referral bonus. They will be selling us 6 vehicles (4 Tacoma and 2 4runners) through your referral.

Most dealerships do have a referral program. I was told about it when I bought my Tacoma.
Also, dealerships I have worked at years ago offered it as well. Usually $100 per referral.

It's a pretty easy process. Let me know if you have any questions.

Seems like most of the good deals I'm seeing are in the great northwet (pun intended). Looks like I could fly there, then drive 1500 miles back and still save a few thousand.

That's what I did. The dealers in California have no reason to budge on prices. Everyone seems to be willing to pay near sticker.

I flew out and drove mine back about 600 miles.
You pay tax in the state it gets registered in.
