    Yeah.
I've always had good luck with RockAuto, although DHL never delivered one part I ordered (not RockAuto's fault, they shipped another, but I avoid DHL whenever I can). Shipping can be expensive depending on the size of the item -- I ordered a bumper cover for an '06 4Runner, $50 for the part and $150 shipping due to the size.

A gas cap and diff breather valve I ordered from Amazon sellers were either fake (valve) or faulty (gas cap). Cheap, and not worth the hassle to return. The gas cap looked legit and like it should work, but it didn't eliminate the check engine light. The one I got from the dealer worked fine.

I do order OEM filters from eBay sellers that are obviously dealerships, but I go to RockAuto when I need actual parts.

This thread took me down a rabbit hole. Now I'm wondering if the yzzd3 filters i have been buying for years are fake. Sometimes when removing the oil filter to replace, nothing drains out of the filter to the small weep hole on the v6. ......I remember when I first got it filling 1/4 of a 16oz water bottle from the old oil from the filter. Anyone know if that means its counterfit? The only other thing I can think may cause this is changing oil without warming it up maybe.

Toyota mounts the filter upside down to help it self drain, they're trying to help you out.

Some filters drain faster than others, don't worry about it

Just another dude here, been using rockauto for 10 years. Large parts (like bumper covers) are too costly to ship, so I go through summit racing w/ local pick-up for those since they're only 1.5 hours away. Even with local pick-up, somebody at summit makes sure to kick the crap out of any exhaust pipes I order..

I've only had one mishap with rockauto wherein I was sent a different catalytic converter/header than what was ordered and they fully covered the return once I went through their process (all online, pics, descrip, no cust. service). took til the part was returned to be credited I think.

Besides that, I try to always make sure I order the correct parts, cuz if you make an error it's on you. I've never bothered to try and return my own mistakes, typically stuff like bulbs, belts, wiper blades, because I'd lose the shipping cost to receive it as well as send it back.

In my experience, the parts that are made correctly are marked with a heart. That said there are other solid alternatives: Melling (gears n chains), Luk (clutch stuff), Denso (OE sensors and spark), Four Seasons (blowers and such), TYC (Nice blowers, headlights, ect), NGK (plugs), Nissin (OE hydraulics, window motor regulator assemblies I tried sucked), Hitachi (OE Coils and sensors), AC Delco (Control arms ect.), Gates (belts, ect.), KYB (high quality struts/shocks), Delphi (fuel system patent holding fiends), Timken (real/legit bearing manufacturer),Walker (the only aftermarket OE style exhaust manufacturer whose parts actually fit right out of the box), Akebono (brakes)...

Starting out, just trust the heart symbol. When there isn't one, the above brands and more are all solid.

Doorman usually sucks. If you need them, you're better off buying a used part from ebay or a junk yard, unless its like.. a body panel clip. Ultrapower usually sucks if it fits. sometimes it's got the heart symbol on it and actually fits the bill, otherwise, no. Dynamic friction is kinda ass. Standard motors SMP has sold me valves that snapped off 1/4 of the way to torque values, and mounts that tore while placing. Cardone has my eternal hatred. they do poorly inspected and thoroughly spray-painted remanufactures. Bosal exhaust seems to have some dollar store economy product lines. I'm told they made TRD at some point too? their OE style muffler broke loose internally in a couple months.

If you get it, it looks like shit, and you install it, it's on you.

They've by and large made my auto work feasible, but it took a learning curve.

Ebay is sweet for used OE parts. Amazon wins out occasionally due to delivery time, but I use them more for tools and oil filters. Make sure somebody with your model has reviewed or asked about any amazon parts you're interested in.
    I hope this helps.

There are dealerships that sell on Amazon. You just have to do your research. May even take a phone call to the dealership to confirm.
