Buying question

I am planning to buy a Tacoma I got two trucks that I am interested on could you please advice
Truck 1 price 7000
Is 2001 regular cab 4 cylinder auto with 200k miles on it. the truck is one owner truck clean body from Toyota dealer . I noticed a black greasy paint on the frame and asked the sales if the frame in need of replacement or was covered by the recall he told me Toyota has passed it as it doesn't need frame replacement now.

Truck 2 8500 plus tax
Is 2001 xtra cab 6 cylinder with 192k miles has 3 owners . Truck looks clean but not sure about the dealer( those small town second hand car dealers in a shanty office) he said a lot about the truck but can't believe a word he said frame is also painted black and can see some scuffles on it.

And I am also concerned about the mpg between the 4 and 6 cylinder any advice is most welcomed

 

both sound like they are asking double what you should be paying. i would keep looking. kinda high in the miles.

 

I do feel the same about the price .but here in va where I live . There prices are high . Those with lower miles are beyond my budget. For example they ask 10900 for 2001 4x4 with 153k miles and I can't go more than 8k. And have been looking for mor than 3 months now.

 

They are expensive all over. I'm looking @ a 01 DC TRD 4x4 with 160k miles. They want $10,500.
