Hi all, I bought a used 2005 Tacoma 4DR with grey interior and the person I bought it from misplaced the rear head rests. I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get some, used would be fine and probably cheaper. I called around to local salvage yeards and searched on ebay but no luck so far. I am sure Toyota dealers have them but they probably cost a fortune.

    Any help would be appreciated.

My first recomendation is to keep checking ebay and your local salvage yards a couple times each week.

You can also post a "Want To Buy" message here, on other truck boards, and on Craigslist letting people know what you are looking for.

Thanks guys, the previous owner that I bought the truck from sent them to me so I am good now (he misplaced them when I bought it, turned out he left them at the place he had it detailed).

I hate those damn headrests! I would've considered selling you mine.

    Glad you got 'em though.

having them on gives you pretty much no visibility out of the back window. mine only survived the drive home then they were gone from the truck. I've never used them and wont ever.

Yeah I know what you mean, as soon as I got them I actually put them behind the seat in the storage area. I guess I will only put them in if I have some adults in the back seat with big heads.

I got used to em after awhile. Mine are still in. I keep them all the way down, and generally rely on my side mirrors more than my rear view lately. I did have them out for awhile though.
