So i'm pretty sure i'm going to end up buying a sight unseen vehicle online. I was just looking on some advice from someone on how to pay (i would like to use paypal if at all possible because it's easiest on me). I'm sure someone has done this and could provide input, as in to pay all up front, or like half up front and half when the truck gets to my house etc.

Second question involves shipping, i've been getting a lot of quotes online, and also from uship.com (I found that one here using the search tool.. neat how that shit works) but uship's prices are $500-600 more expensive than other services, i'm not sure the quality of any of these sources but uship seems to have the better reviews.

    Thanks in Advance,
    Cody

mhmm well are you going to have a mechanic in the area of the truck look at it so your not buying a problem child? Also maybe if you put up your location a TW member could help? I know i'd go check out a truck for a fellow member.

A guy here just bought a truck from ebay, he did go pick it up tho. Worked out really well for him, and he got a hell of a deal. You can sometimes tell by talking to the seller what kind of person they are and if they have taken care of the truck, etc.. But I would definitely try and have a friend, or member here go check out the truck, even if you have to throw them some cash. Uship is 5-600 more? The total should be around that, it's 1000 to ship a car to Hawaii from the mainland.

quotes i have gotten from uship have been between 1000-1300, other shipping sites have been 500-700, but i also included a picture on uship, shipping a modified vehicle is probably different

Theres a bunch of guys on here from jersey. Im sure someone can swing by and look at it for you and give their honest oppinion. I think the owner has a lot invested and sounds like a good deal, but I dont have enough suspension knowledge to look at it for you or speak about intelligently about it.
