I saw a good deal on craigslist for some Total Chaos upper control arms that would fit my tacoma, but they're used. I was wondering what I should look for to make sure I'm not getting scammed or that they won't break in a few months. I would for sure replace the polyurethane bushings but those are only $50. Any help is appreciated

Depending on age, mileage, and type of use you could be looking at replacing the urethane bushings and uniballs. If you aren't familiar with the history or condition we'd recommend replacing these components to be safe. At TOTAL CHAOS we designed these control arms to be easy to maintain and have a thread on here covering bushing and uniball replacement.

We are closed for our shop vacation until 7/08, but don't hesitate to contact one of our Authorized Dealers for replacement parts. If you'd like to wait, feel free to contact us when we are back.

I would only buy used UCA if it’s stupid cheap...like a deal where you can’t refuse.

for $350, that's a good deal. if you replace the bushings and uniballs like TC mentioned above you basically have brand new control arms

Try to get the price lower and I say it’s a good deal.

I will be selling mine in about 2 weeks, have about 2000 miles. Nothing wrong but going a different route with my front suspension.
