    Congrats man! Had to figure out not = now though, thought for a second why are you happy if you didn't get it lol. Enjoy it... sometimes a few grand for not settling is worth it in the long run... I learned that lesson finally after about 5 cars.

    For the standard cab I'd be interested in the edmunds numbers on 2010 vs. 2005 over 5 years, all costs totaled ( repair, maint, insurance, depreciation, fuel):

    2010 4x4 costs 14% more over 5 yrs than 2005.
    2010 4x2 costs 10% more over 5 yrs than 2005.

    That's really not a very big spread. I think I'll keep saving my $$$ for a down payment and pull the trigger on a new truck.

    I'd like to see those costs for a Gen 1 truck. I LOVE the Gen 1 truck size/style. I'd hate to spend a sizeable chunk of $$$ on an older used truck and get hosed. I'd consider CPO.

    2008 DC LB more mods by the month
    Took me forever to find DCLB that I liked, found one that was babied, has 45K on it, but I am still embarrassed over how much I paid for it. Good luck.
