how long does the evap canister purge pump buzz after you turn the truck off ??? i have a 1996 with a 2.7 and it will do it all day ....

I dont think it should buzz longer than a few seconds, to a min.

If the noise bothers you....all you have to do is open up the gas cap which releases pressure and put the cab back on again = noise will stop.
