'14 Access Cab, Base, 2.7L, Auto, 5-Lug, 30K miles: Immediately after turning OFF the engine...I hear a 2-3 second "buzzing" sound coming from the engine compartment. I am sitting in the driver's seat with the doors closed when I hear it. Anyone know what this is?

Ok...I did a Google search on this and it appears that this noise is coming from the "Smog Pump"...and it is normal.

Unscrew your gas cap...and put it back on. Something about the emissions/pressure. It should stop buzzing.

Yes, it's normal, just as you turn it off. But it's different from the "pressure check" that happens, sometimes long after that truck has been shutdown. In fact, sometimes I'll step out to the garage and both my Taco and the wife's RAV4 are humming away.
