"This would make me crazy" was the response I got from the dealer. No fix was identified and my truck was bought back or it would have had a lemon title.

That is great news! I will continue to pursue this issue until they admit there is an problem. It completely takes the fun out of driving the truck. The vibrating buzz every time I go though the lower gear range.

Maybe they will upgrade the cheap rubber engine mounts and use hydraulic like GMC/Chevy and [Lexus which has the same 3.5 engine].

OK.... finally got my runcam closer to the noise... I am wondering if its the fan clutch, its something that is moving but cannot single it out. anybody have an idea what this could be??? Not skid plate, brakes, belts and no apparent bearing failures that I can tell but haven't checked all belt rollers without belt (yet) Its driving me crazy, sometimes when I get a coast going where I am just barely on the throttle I can make go for 1/4 mile... I need to find it before whatever it is breaks in BFE.

I have something to add that I recently discovered.
My gf bought a new Rav4 back in July 16' and I've been feeling a vibration when my arm is resting on the console. Then just a couple days ago when I was driving it I felt that exact same "buzzy vibration" in the gas pedal like we have with the Tacoma (although it was very faint). So, the only thing I can think of that my Tacoma and the Rav4 have in common is the 6 speed auto tranny...

The vibration also goes thru the engine/trans mount in the rear.

Not the speed of the vehicle, it is when it is in the 2100 -2500 rpm range.I cringe every day on the highway when it downshifts on a hill and I am in that range..

It's all models of the new V6. Manual or auto. Totally RPM related mine was 1200 - 2500 - strong pulsing vibration in the throttle and steering wheel, foot well. Totally absent in the 2.7 4.

I have a 17 TRDor 4x4 and I drove it around that rpm range and I didn't feel anything on mine.

That buzzing noise/vibration, is it audible?

Off subject but I repaired couple of rx 350. that had a buzzing noise at low rpm under a light load going uphill. the culprit was bank 1 catalytic converter heat shield vibrating.

It's a harmonic vibration transferring to the chassis. It's felt, not heard. It shows up sometimes 2000 miles down the road; some trucks it's barely felt. It's not the heat shield, if that was so easy. Some guys removed the heat shield, to no effect.

Yep, mine does it pretty severely, can't even drive in that range in 4th, 5th 6th, without getting infuriated with the truck.

Mine does it, the others I drove do it. I, unfortunately, believe it is a design flaw rather than a small isolated set of production issues.

Seems it's the driveshaft and or drive shaft angle. Because it happens on the TRD sport and limited model and not the offroad model.
does the vibration happen on the SR5 model?

So far I've driven mine for 400mi. I haven't felt anything cruising around 70-75mph.

Check the part numbers on your engine/ trans mounts. They may have been updated. If that's the case then you might have a rare truck.

I'm on vacation I'll check when I get back and post what I see

Had anyone tried driving at the rpm/speed range of the vibration, then shifting the vehicle into neutral to see if the vibration goes away?
It seems like the driveshaft is out of balance and/or excessive freeplay.
Because one poster said he tried revving engine and no vibration is felt.
