Finally was able to get 100 miles on it lol, probably at 150 or so miles with it. It has softened up from the intial drive home with it which was super stiff. Now, it has softened up but is still more firm than the stock trd pro set which I dont mind. Although, If it softens up a little more by the end of the next few hundred miles, I wouldnt mind haha. But overall, I like it more than the bilstein setup.

It was comfortable and very nice, but I wanted more height and I eventually would of went new suspension anyways. :D

    Gah.. Maybe it is :spy:

In all seriousness, I’d rather have my finances in order before I make an offer/fully consider that supercharger haha

Looking good man! How is the ride now that you are full kings? Def a crisp build...if I had to do it over I would have gotten an inferno. That color is just the hotness!

Thanks brotha! Man, to be honest on the first night when driving it home, I thought I made a mistake with the 650’s... It was ridiculously stiff sitting in the traffic.

Only have been able to put in around 200 miles since the install and it has softened up. It is more of a firm ride, but I don’t mind it at all!

Definitely love the inferno more and more, especially since its a “special” color for the 2nd gens! :D

Yea man it def is a special color for sure with the second gens. I originally got my red one only because I wanted a Baja with the hopes to eliminate the mod bug. Since all the black ones were sold out, I eventually just got red...but three years later the inferno comes out! Man if I had the option I would have gotten your color in a heartbeat and TBH I grew up on red vehicles so my color was about as far off my radar as possible. Yea my kings def started out quite stiff as well on my OEM and LT ones. The OEM ones loosened up in a day or two and settled, my LT ones took like a month and a trail ride or two for them to settle. As much as I love my cushy ride, I think bypasses are gonna firm my ride up quite a bit too which will make handling better, but I fear it will stiffen it up to a degree too.

So whats next on the mod list?

I was actually gonna settle with a black dcsb pro, the previous owner had it for about 2 months, drove it down to cali and traded it in at 1500 miles  Luckily the dealer wouldn’t make a deal on it, found my inferno the next week!

If these continue to soften up a little bit more, I’ll be super happy.. but as is, I dont mind how firm it is. I still need to let the rear settle in, then re adjust the front haha.

A couple things are planned, 285’s or possibly 295’s will be done in March. After that, probably will do skids, although something popped up... if I can swing the cost, I think it’ll fully complete the truck :D

Beautiful truck! How are you liking the Kings? I’m
About to pull the trigger from dsm aswell :)! Just without the rear leafs, the stock ones will do for now

    Thank you!

I haven’t been driving the truck as much as I usually do the past couple weeks so I probably have less than 500 miles so far. But, the ride is very nice. I’ll admit it is a bit more firm than the trd pro 6112/5160 setup.

Right on man I just pulled the trigger on the exact same setup. Minus the leaf pack. However now I’m debating it haha. Did you need extended brake lines? Or Limit strapped for the rear? Also do you remember how much you adjusted the front coils to get the perfect height your At now?

Nice! Didnt need extended brake lines, however I’ll more than likely do extended rear since I’ll be doing stainless lines eventually.

I’ll need to double check, but I believe driver side has 5 threads and passenger side has 4 threads for preload. However, I ordered them with 650# springs. I still need to readjust my front, but Im waiting for the rear to settle in since I want a slight rear rake.

thanks again for the replies man! when you say you'll most likely do extended rear, you mean the lines once you upgrade to stainless? and do you see the leaf springs as being a must? i may just do an AAL for now since i don't tow or haul m much gear other then mountain bike and my dog and family haha I'm still new to the truck suspension world.
