Wild to be reading. I had a S2000 shot by Andrew in 2019 with some pics with his as well.

I saw him driving a few weeks ago (in his yellow M3) and know generally where he lives, have his cell, etc.

    Hope everyone recovers.

I literally got one of the last Pelfrey front bumpers, others weren't so lucky.

Rock Solid Toys in OC imploded too. I believe some businesses in this niche market don't have a business plan, capital to scale but have passion but soon find themselves under water.

Then there are the grifters just taking advantage of the zeitgeist.

Same here. I think I got my old Pelfrey bumper delivered a week or two before it all went south. Never got the rear

Just a little update and advice here for anyone else going through this mess.

I paid with Paypal, which debited my Chase bank account.

    - Paypal is USELESS. If it's past 180 days, they don't care.
    - Chase online banking does not let you open a fraud claim past 60 days. I decided to call for the hell of it and to my shock, they were actually useful. They reversed the charge and had me sign an affidavit about the incident.

I don't know if this will work with other banks, but at least at Chase, CALL them and ask to speak to the Retail Fraud department. (ignore what the online banking sites say)

See the attachment for a statement just made by Daniel Hawkins on his IG. I don't for a second believe he wasn't aware what the boss was up to, but here it is.

Yeah, if your taking orders you had to be aware things were going sideways to some extent. Maybe not the intimate financials but the long lead times, give me a break.

I was kinda shocked to see them post that statement on IG. I bought lights from him in June of 2020 and had no issues with lead times or anything. I think they were delivered like a month early too. I guess between COVID and supply issues it was too much to overcome. Disappointed to hear about all the people that got screwed over.

I help my wife run a small business, I hate it because it sucks up my time and makes it harder to do what I love 4wheeling and camping. But I take it super serious and always run the numbers and keep it afloat. You can't for a moment get sloppy with a small business and view it like a piggy bank.

Nice! Depending the chase card purchase protection I think goes past 180 days if you never received. I used chase for Pelfrey and still got paid back. Glad you got yours back.

No it wasn’t supply chain issues, it was their own poor business decisions.

I saw them implement several pointless sales while already being behind on shipping things out. Like why tf would you do that??
Anyone else not buying the part about selling all his personal vehicles? He says early 2022 but I’m pretty sure he had been spotted with them somewhat recently

I’m inclined to believe he’s full of shit which makes me genuinely believe people are already harassing him and the people around him which isnt necessarily the best

Yes, now they saying they are closing the case cause bx built still has time to deliver the headlights, I bet the owner is telling PayPal that he can so he doesn't have chargebacks. Now it is on, they are not going to like me

Our attorneys have reached out to BX Built about the 65 open orders we have with them. We haven't received any response yet. We have already moved these orders in-house so customers won't be out any money and will receive their orders.

We ordered over 100 sets of projectors exactly the same as BX Built offered with their lights. They were packed up and shipped out to us within 3 business days. Housings are also readily available. This wasn't a supply issue.

I've known Andrew for about 6 years now and talked to him almost every week. Even went to his wedding.

People can be exactly what they want you to see.

Anyone that has been screwed over and can't get any money back from their CC, shoot our support email (support@srqfabrications.com) and we can try to help out.

You mean we can contact you if the CC company doesn't give our money back and we didn't even order through your company?

I'm currently waiting to hear back from my bank about their investigation into this fraud case. Fingers crossed here.
