Bye Bye Inferno Red

According to Toyota’s Website, when you select to build a 2019 Tacoma the Inferno Red color option is no longer available. Looks like the Inferno Tacoma’s will be just the 4Runners, only a select few out in the wild

 

Inferno is orange, not red.

 

I guess colors are subjective. What might look like a certain shade in the palate to you, might not represent the same color for another person.

 

I hate seeing dealerships advertise it as inferno “red” like what the hell do they not know anything about the trucks they’re selling. I have people tell me I like your red truck and I’m like it’s not red it’s orange.

 

On that note, I will admit that inferno is very chameleon-like. Very dependent on lighting to provide different hues of orange to include some red.

Passed by a guy who works where I do with an Inferno TRD OR and I love the color...DEF when it is more a shade of orange.

 

That’s exactly why I love it so much. It’s almost like I have 2 different color trucks in one.

Switching from NV 305s 16x8 to F5s 17x9. 265/75/16 Wildpeaks to 285/70/17 Ridge Grapplers.

 

Just bought a 2018 just for that reason. I grabbed one of the booklets in the dealer and the color option was not there for 2019.

 

Inferno is not my cup of tea, but MUCH MUCH better looking than the last two ugly ass blues

 

Will do... Grapplers have big shoes to fill, the Wildpeaks have been fantastic to me.

 

My inferno is red ??? I always thought it to be Orange who knew.
I really don’t care they’re discontinuing it as I have mine !

 

I think people that called it Red made other people InFurious

 

Same here just makes me apppreicate the color and makes me happy knowing I’m the first owner and don’t have to get a used one. If it ever goes for sale I’ll tack an extra $1000 for the “exotic” color

I typically would not do this as I know what your saying. But I did not think InFurius was a word , and while Webster’s does not recognize it , Urban dictionary does .
Now I am InFurius with myself for even trying to correct someone! As I am the absolute last person that should do this !
Besides I become Infuriated when others do it to me....Wate wate wate infuriated is the word we were thinking of. And I used it correctly lol

But you did not quote me well at all..... You typed InFurius. I typed InFurious. So you are right, InFurius is not a word.

InFurious is the new Tacoma color. It is the color of a person's face when they correct people's spelling and can't type. LOL
