C rareted, bad picture, but great tire. Very quiet so far. Had another bfg on another truck that was loud.

One size up, bit ride great. I don't think you need e rated. If you get tire right away like I did they bought my old ones.

Updated previous post. No lift, no spacers, just 1 up tire.

285's ko2. Rub at full lock on upper control arm. Doesn't bug me but I might get some spacers. Any recommendations on what spacers?

maybe not. Discount put MTRs on my 2009 Prerunner instead of Duratracs. I was headed to the hunting ranch and in a hurry so even though they looked a little different I did not question the installer. They called me a few days later and told me what happened. They said I could keep at no cost or bring them back for the Duratracs. I kept them for month and over 4 tanks of gas I ran 20.7 MPG pretty much all hwy. Noise and the fact that I had a Prerunner not a 4x4 made me trade them for the Duratracs. I put on Duratracs and no change in MPGs. Tire size was 265/75/16 versus stock rugged trails @ 265/70. MTRs are some noisy SOBs.

I've owned both on two different vehicles. Two sets of Duratracs after one set of MTRs. The Duratracs are far superior as far as traction goes on wet pavement. The duratracs were not as noisy either.

He claims his GY MTRs are no worse of a ride than the Good Year Wrangler Adventures that came on it. I call bull. Two totally different tire designs for different applications. If the MTRs felt as smooth as GY Adventures that came stock on the Toyota I'd question whether or not there was something wrong with the build quality of my MTRs.

E rated 285"s on my first gen, Sure its a bit stiffer ride. I wouldnt say I feel everything, its the bigger bumps at speed that you get that "dump truck" feel from, Cant comment on mpg yet only had them 3 weeks and have been doing a lot more city, definatley quite ride though, I would get the smaller C rated KO2 if your worried, do you really think a half inch is gonna make that much of a difference in appearance?

Any new pics of 275 70 17 out there? I'm stuck and can't decide either. I want load C, and have been leaning toward the Cooper AT3's. But if you have pics of anything else please share. Thanks.

I got a question for all the LRE supporters out there, how much power or mpg loss did you actually get? I am going to have a bed rack, RTT, and all my gear and wanting to drive all over the country through all the national parks. Is a LRC tire sufficient enough? Pros and cons to each I would love to get a debate going about this.

    None... Yet.
I'm running Duratracs 265/75/16 E load. Haven't found too significant of a drop in mpg, and the ride isn't as rough as I had expected. I like how they look on the truck, and they handled a Newfoundland winter just fine. No plans to change them for the summer. I don't think I can wear them out - LOL

Anyone have any experience with the General Grabber AT2? They do make a C load tire but its is just as heavy as the E load tire...anyone have any input on that?

Yes I have them and absolutely love them! They've been excellent off road, through snow, ice and everything I throw at them. They're quite and do good on pavement and you can't beat the price.

Thanks for the help! What's the details on your generals. Tire size, load range, and did you experience any loss in power or MPG?
