LOL. A fab shop doesn’t come through on delivery windows? Shocked I say.

I agree, but strangely C4 has been ahead of lead time both times I ordered something from them.

Of course, any time a group buy or a global pandemic hit, things go off the rails.

Got everything mounted properly, all my wiring and switches done, and two days later a guy that "just didn't see me" pulled out and totaled my truck. Depending on the insurance situation, may be parting out if anyone would be interested in the bumper.

Damn that’s a bummer! Good bumpers save lives! So what’s the status of it? How’d it take the blow? Also, if it’s for sale I’m interested!

Fortunately for the bumper, the other driver hit right behind it. Has two small gouges on the underside of the wing.

Wow. Tough break. I’ll buy the bumper if you’re parting out

Thanks for the kind words everyone, @MYKOSPRO messaged me as soon as I made the first post and picked up the bumper over the weekend.

Anyone else in here get their bumpers in and mounted yet??

I just ordered the front and rear overland. I’m getting them linexed.. any issues with the thickness of the coating and fitting things on?

I ran a bedliner shop for a few years, and we would occasionally see fitment issues if something had really tight tolerances. If they're spraying a proper coat on them, you're going to see between 1/8" - 3/16" of coating, which on these bumpers shouldn't present any issues with cosmetic/functional fitment.

Something to consider, all bedliner will oxidize and fade in sunlight unless it is topcoated with paint/UV protectant. After a couple months your bumpers will look very dull, which is why I went the powdercoat route. Also, after I got a close look at how tight some of the nooks and crannies were on the backside of C4's bumpers, there is no way you can completely seal these with bedliner. I would HIGHLY recommend going back after the Line-X job with a rattle can and spraying as much as you can up into the corners to prevent rust.

Make sure to post some pics when you get them on!

Thanks for the heads up on the rear bumper. I had linex do my rock slider and my current winch bumper a couple years ago. They did clear coat them with the UV top coat and they still look brand new. The sliders were put to good use and I now have a few areas that scraped against rocks on the underside. I can see a red primer that they used but no bare steel. What’s the best way to touch it up?

Liner is not very easy to touch up, they would have to remove them, tape off everything else and blend it out. If you’re just looking to prevent corrosion, you can get a black epoxy and fill in the holes and it will look better than rattle can
