C8 Corvette

My dad had a 64 coupe. To me the C2 coupe and Jag E-type convertible are the two most beautiful cars ever designed.

Well, I will keep my C6 for now. The rear end of the C8 is hideous, kind of a bastardized Camaro rear and you NEVER want to buy a GM anything after a total redesign, especially the C8.

 

The should have implemented a lcd touch toolbar instead of buttons.

 

I will wait a year for sure, once the 2021 come out I will begin my hunt for the one I want, should be enough time to see it flaws for the first couple of months

 

That would look way better! Not sure WTF they were thinking. Why wouldn't they just control everything with the touchscreen?

 

I believe they wanted more driver focus, reminds of the supra iv set up

 

How the hell are you supposed to focus while you staring at a 3' row of buttons trying to figure out how to turn on the AC?

 

You can use your sense of touch and muscle memory to manipulate a physical (button) interface. Perhaps if you want a touch screen, you should go look at a Tesla, sissy boy.

It's 2019. Why would I want an ugly ass row of buttons like that? At least put them somewhere that doesn't look like shit!

And I know Teslas are fast, but I could never enjoy a sports car that doesn't make noise.

I think the row of buttons looks neat, gives the car character and differentiates it from the heard.

 

I figured you were just joking. It's hard to read people's tone sometimes.

I actually prefer buttons as well. I just think they could have put them somewhere less conspicuous.

 

Sorry but 007 would only drive a proper manual gearbox. Not a meter long row of climate control buttons.

 

They should done a gated 6 speed and would been perfect
